We Are Baker News

Many students are aware of just how bland and boring school news sources can be. In fact, some students rarely pay attention to the announcements played over the intercom system or sent via email. As a result, the student body can miss essential information and events. Here at Baker News, we do our best to produce engaging yet helpful videos that make it easier for students to stay informed.

It took a few moving parts to get Baker News to what it is today. It began with only five creative students in contrast to the over 40 members who regularly help with production now. Members from Baker's Film Program, Genius Bar, and the Student Council began collaborating and the program took off from there.

What was originally Baker's video lab quickly transformed into what we now call Studio Bee. For our editing and research purposes, a post-production room was added, giving us a larger space to hone our crafts. Over the last few years, we have also advanced our sound and filming equipment to better the quality and variety in our episodes.

We are extremely grateful for our director, all of our dedicated members, and our audience that watches Baker News each week. We hope you enjoy our episodes as much as we enjoy making them. We look forward to another amazing school year delivering news and creating fun features for your enjoyment!
